Our room had a balcony. Location was within walking distance of lightner museum and other tourist spots. Burger Buckets served dishes within 900 feet off the hotel: )

While not inexpensive, the Alexander Homestead was a beautiful and well run B & B. Breakfast was only fair, but the staff and atmosphere were excellent.
The breakfast was not as good as we hoped, a hearty portion of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage links and home fries would have been a much better choice what was served.

Bonnie and her staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were accomodating to all our needs. The gourmet breakfasts were scrumptious. Location is very quiet and convenient to downtown. Easy walking.

The Alexander was such a beautiful bed and breakfast. The owner is warm and welcoming, our suite was so spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast can only be described as spectacular. Its location was also wonderful.

It's a beautiful home, offering an outstanding breakfast completely home- made. The Owner joing you for breakfast. The home is exceptionally clean with unique "period" furnishings. It's located a few short blocks from town on a very quiet street (while other b and B's seem to be in-town). For a quiet, romantic, personable stay you can't go wrong here !
It's very hard to find anything "wrong". Our bed was a little too firm for my taste. There, one extremely minor thing "wrong" that some may find a "Plus".

Every thing were excellent, except the breakfeasts. Some time, some thing simple is better.
The place was beautifull, and particularly well located.
